In addition to his spiritual calling, I am actively engaged in mentoring lives.  I believe the interconnectedness of faith and community service reflects a holistic approach.  Academic foundation combined with practical spirituality serves as a testament to the enduring impact of the teachings received from my mentor Reverend Ali Alexander, DD. Since embarking on this educational journey, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to the principles instilled by Reverend Ali Alexander DD. The bond forged during those early years defined my theological perspective and inspired a life dedicated to the well-being of those under my spiritual care.

Joseph Armond Dumas

I was born in Winslow, AZ on February 7, 1959.  My parents moved to Phoenix, Arizona when I was 3.  I grew up in Phoenix and Glendale, Arizona. I was never much of a student growing up and ended up dropping out of school and went to Job Corp. to learn cement finishing. After leaving Job Corp., I worked in construction till 1978 and then moved to Missouri were I got into trouble with the law because of bad choices I made. I received three years’ probation and promptly moved back to Arizona in 1980.

In June of 1980, I met Ali Alexander and was invited to join his group where I got training in counseling and how to run a project. First, we did maintenance for realtors and  Palm tree trimming. (Maintenance & More)

As Time past we started J. R. Lewis and Associates doing Check cashing store build outs and small remodels, room additions and rebuilt Castles and Coasters and built 12 Homes from the ground up. In 1987 I qualified for a Contractors License after John Lewis left the group. From that point on we started doing electrical for schools.

Carl

Carl S. Hankinson

I was born in Winedot, Michigan on September 28, 1962. My parents moved to Phoenix, Arizona when I was 7 and I have resided there since that time.  My Parents divorced when I was 17 and I ended up with my dad and brothers. We were never close, so I was a little wild which got me in trouble.

I was Dyslexic and had bad eyesight which caused struggles for me in school.  Due to a lack of support, I never graduated High School. In 1981, I met Ali Alexander and was invited to stay a few days, so he could talk to me about my future. I was not sure where I wanted to be, so I went home to think about it. On arrival I found my dad and brother had packed to move leaving my belongings outside the front door. Ali said l would get my answer when I got there and it was a slap in the face, I joined his group and never looked back, it was the best thing to happen for me.

I received the help and support I needed to learn and grow with my new brothers.  They never laughed at me when I tried to read.  They helped and supported me in all I did. As time passed, I learned to direct others on the jobs and I am trained in electrical, framing, plumbing, concrete and masonry at SDC Energy.
